Socialization/Exposure

The most critical part in your dogs life for determining its overall personality and temperament is from birth to 12 weeks of age. We have done much initial work to provide positive exposure for your pup to many different places, sounds, people, smells and situations during their 7-8 weeks with us. Now it is  time for you to take over, socialize your pup to YOUR WORLD, and help your pup grow into the BEST DOG EVER!!!! Please read on, and watch the following videos for great ideas on how to make this happen!!!!

Early socialization in puppies is crucial for their lifelong development and happiness. By exposing puppies to a variety of people, animals, and environments during their critical socialization period (between 7 and 12 weeks of age), you can help them develop into well-adjusted and confident dogs.

Puppies who are not properly socialized during this time may become fearful, anxious, or aggressive towards new experiences and stimuli. This can lead to a host of behavioral issues, including separation anxiety, destructive behavior, and even biting.

By socializing your puppy early and regularly, you can help them build positive associations with new experiences and people, which can lead to a happier and healthier dog overall. Proper socialization also helps prevent behavioral issues from developing later on, which can save you time, money, and stress in the long run.

In addition to the benefits for your puppy, early socialization also helps prevent dangerous situations from arising. Dogs that are not socialized properly may exhibit aggressive behavior towards other dogs or people, which can lead to injuries and legal issues. By socializing your puppy early and teaching them appropriate behaviors, you can help prevent these types of incidents from occurring.

Overall, early socialization is a vital part of raising a happy, healthy, and well-behaved dog. If you have a new puppy, make sure to prioritize socialization during their critical socialization period (7-12 weeks) to set them up for a lifetime of success.
